Renew Venture Lab: EmFi Series—The Future of Finance

The Renew Venture Lab: EmFi Series is a program for tech founders building in Africa who are ready to integrate financial services—from embedded finance to alternative lending—directly into their platforms. The program combines self-paced learning with live insights from veteran practitioners to help founders build a robust alternative lending offering and a winning embedded finance strategy, with the goal of becoming investment-ready. Founders who complete the series gain a direct path to potential funding from Renew Capital and its co-investors. The program is designed to prepare companies for a formal investment consideration, offering access to experienced operators, subject matter experts, and a network of founders across the continent and the diaspora. Participants will learn how AI is changing underwriting and risk assessment, build a product roadmap, connect with other founders, and create a data room. Selected companies gain access to capital, expert insights, and a global network.

Submit an application to be reviewed through a structured screening process. Selected companies will be invited to join the Venture Lab, complete modules, and attend expert sessions. Top companies will be selected to present to Renew Capital’s investment team for investment consideration.
