Antler Kenya Residency (Nairobi)

Antler Kenya runs a full-time, in-person residency in Nairobi for founders building from day zero. Founders join solo or with a co-founder idea, spend 10 weeks at Antler's Nairobi base (ABC Place) finding co-founders, validating ideas and preparing to pitch, and the strongest teams are backed by Antler's investment committee.

Investment terms (per antler.co/location/kenya, checked 6 Oct 2026): US$100,000 for 10% equity, paid as cash with no fees or deductions, plus US$150,000 of pre-committed follow-on capital that matches the next VC-led round on the same terms. Participants also get access to $850,000+ in tech credits (up to $2M for funded companies), free office space, and Antler's global mentor and investor network. Note: older listings (2019) quoted US$100,000 for 20% with a programme fee; those terms are outdated.

Eligibility: pre-product founders are welcome; no MVP or traction required. Most residents have 5–15 years of work experience, though this is not mandatory. Founders must be able to relocate to Nairobi for the full-time 10-week residency. Fewer than 1% of applicants are backed.

Timeline: applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; the next Nairobi cohort starts 12 October 2026.
