About this opportunity
France 2030 call, run by Bpifrance, supporting collaborative R&D and standardisation projects led by French telecommunications companies to strengthen their presence and technical influence in international standards bodies for future networks, especially 3GPP and the future 6G specifications. Projects combine targeted technology development, creation of intellectual property assets and active participation in standardisation groups (back-office contribution preparation and front-office delegate work), and should help more experienced players build standardisation expertise among SMEs, very small companies, start-ups and research labs. Projects need a total expense base above EUR 1 million, last 12 to 36 months, cover the Study Item and Work Item phases, and carry out work on French territory that has not started before the application. Support is state aid mixing grants and repayable advances, with the split set in the specifications. Applications are collected in rounds on 15 Sep, 15 Oct, 16 Nov and 15 Dec 2026 and a final deadline of 15 January 2027 at noon Paris time.
How to apply
Download the specifications and application template from the Bpifrance call page and submit the complete application electronically on the Bpifrance platform before the next collection date (16 Nov 2026, 15 Dec 2026, or the final deadline of 15 Jan 2027 at 12:00 Paris time).
