About this opportunity

The BSC AI Factory Acceleration Programme (Call 1) is a free, equity-free programme run by the BSC AI Factory, coordinated by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, for AI-native startups and high-potential AI projects in Spain. It selects 25 startups at each of four sites (Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid and Málaga), 100 in total, and is fully funded by SEDIA. The programme runs in three phases from 1 December 2026 to 19 March 2027, mostly remote, with mandatory in-person events at the assigned site, a kick-off in Barcelona on 2 December and a Demo Day in Madrid on 17 March 2027. Eligible applicants have AI at the centre of the business, an existing product with a good level of technical maturity, initial commercial validation, and a multidisciplinary team with at least a business lead and a product or technical lead. Applications open on 13 October and close on 9 November 2026, and selected startups are notified between 20 and 27 November.

How to apply

Complete the online application form on the programme platform before 9 November 2026. You will need a business and technical questionnaire, an executive summary (maximum 5 pages), a one-minute presentation video, a pitch deck and the company's incorporation deed.
