CDTI Direct Innovation Line (Línea Directa de Innovación)

The Línea Directa de Innovación (LDI) of CDTI Innovación supports applied, market-close innovation projects by individual companies, a call that is open all year. Qualifying objectives include adopting emerging technologies, industrial design and product or process engineering, and new or significantly improved production methods. Eligible projects have an eligible budget between €175,000 and €6,000,000 and last 9 to 24 months. Support is partially reimbursable aid of up to 75% of the approved budget, or up to 85% if co-financed with FEDER, with a non-reimbursable portion (7% from CDTI funds and 10% from European funds, calculated on up to 75% of the budget). The repayable part has a fixed interest rate, with a 5-year option at 1-year Euribor + 0.50% or a 7-year option at 1-year Euribor + 1%, and an advance of up to 50% of the aid (capped at €300,000) is available without extra guarantees. The company must contribute at least 15% of the budget from its own or external financing.
