About this opportunity

Entrepreneurs First (EF) in the U.S. offers two distinct pathways for exceptional individuals aiming to build generational companies. The primary pathway provides up to $250,000 in funding, structured as a $125,000 post-money SAFE for 8% equity from EF and an optional $125,000 uncapped MFN SAFE from EF and Transpose Platform. This second investment is contingent on relocating to San Francisco and incorporating as a Delaware C-Corp. This pathway is designed for founders ready to commit full-time, offering a three-month residency in San Francisco, dedicated 1:1 and team coaching, and guidance from EF partners, advisors, and mentors. The program culminates in an exclusive Demo Day where founders pitch to EF’s network of Tier 1 U.S. investors. The second pathway, the Fellowship Residency, offers a $10,000 equity-free grant and housing for three months. This option is for individuals who are still exploring ideas or considering starting a company, providing time, space, and support to experiment alongside other founders. Fellows have access to the same residency, mentorship, and coaching as those in the full investment pathway, with the goal of progressing to EF’s full $250,000 investment once ready to build full-time. EF seeks ambitious, driven individuals, often before they have a cofounder, company, or fully formed idea, prioritizing potential and urgency to build. Relocation to San Francisco is strongly encouraged for all participants and is a requirement for accessing the full funding pathway. The program is sector-agnostic, focusing on big problems, huge ambition, and hard technical challenges.
