About this opportunity

The European Prize for Women Innovators is jointly awarded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) to celebrate women entrepreneurs behind Europe's most game-changing innovations. The prize recognizes women founders and co-founders across EU Member States and countries associated with Horizon Europe whose disruptive innovations drive positive socio-economic and environmental change. The contest offers nine prizes across three main categories: EIC Women Innovators (awarding EUR 100,000, EUR 70,000, and EUR 50,000), EIC Rising Innovators for leaders under the age of 35 (awarding EUR 50,000, EUR 30,000, and EUR 20,000), and the EIT Women Leadership Award for women leaders from the EIT Community (awarding EUR 50,000, EUR 30,000, and EUR 20,000). Applicants must be women founders or co-founders of an enterprise registered at least one year before the call year. Eligible applications are assessed on breakthrough innovation (especially within deep tech and STEM), demonstrated socio-economic or environmental impact, and inspirational leadership fostering gender equality.

How to apply

Applicants must review the Rules of Contest and the EIC Work Programme, select one eligible category (EIC Women Innovators, EIC Rising Innovators, or EIT Women Leadership), and submit their application through the EU Funding & Tenders Portal before the deadline.
