About this opportunity
Fil Rouge Capital (FRC) is an international investment fund manager and accelerator backing early-stage startups from pre-seed through Series A. Headquartered legally in Luxembourg (FRC Fund Management S.a.r.l.), FRC manages a €46M fund and invests across four stages — idea, MVP, growth, and follow-on — with check sizes ranging from €10K to €2M. The firm targets roughly 30–40 investments per year, both leading and following rounds alongside its network of about 80 co-investing VCs across the US, Europe, and Asia.
FRC is sector-agnostic but focuses on disruptive businesses in SaaS, cloud services, marketplaces, e-commerce, AI, deep tech, fintech, logistics, IoT, Industry 4.0, 5G, and both B2B and B2C models.
The Accelerator Program
FRC's flagship offering is a two-month residential Accelerator for teams with a working MVP or early product already in market — not idea-stage concepts. Selected companies can receive up to €300K in funding and gain:
A dedicated FRC partner as lead mentor, plus 10 expert-led seminars and ongoing office hours
Weekly high-impact sessions and exclusive Founder's Dinners
Access to FRC's partner, sponsor, and co-investor networks
Membership in the FRC Alumni community
A fast track into FRC's Growth Program for follow-on capital, for companies that hit their KPIs
Who FRC Looks For
FRC evaluates applicants on product, market size, business model, early traction, and — above all — team cohesion and credibility. Ideal candidates aim for 10x–20x growth, are pursuing international expansion, show early market validation, and are ready to commit fully (each portfolio company must employ at least one person, typically the founder). Non-Croatian founders accepted into the program are supported in setting up a local company and meeting employment requirements as part of the process.
How to Apply
Startups apply via FRC's online pitch submission form (English-language applications only, with detailed product/service descriptions). FRC states it reviews and responds to every application received, though it does not provide feedback on rejections.
How to apply
Interested founders can submit their pitch directly through the platform by clicking on the 'Submit Your Pitch' section.
