The EIT Urban Mobility Financial Support To Startups Open Call 2026 is designed to bolster Europe's capacity for innovation in urban mobility. This initiative aims to address pressing urban mobility challenges by funding early-stage ventures, specifically pre-seed, seed, and Series A companies. The program seeks to amplify the impact of EIT-funded research and innovation activities and foster collaboration across industry, academia, cities, and startups. It supports the development of high-impact solutions focused on reducing congestion, lowering carbon emissions, improving safety and security, and enhancing accessibility. EIT Urban Mobility will provide financial support of up to €2.5 million per company, participating in funding rounds alongside venture capital or other private investors. The call focuses on five key sectors: urban logistics, shared mobility and public transport, mobility data management, electrification of transport and alternative fuels, and health and mobility. Applicants must be startups currently engaged in an active fundraising round (pre-seed/seed or Series A), target the Urban Mobility market, and possess a prototype, pilot, or Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The call is open to legal entities established in EU Member States and countries associated with Horizon Europe, with a company pre-money valuation not exceeding €50,000,000.

Funding is provided through an open application process with multiple cut-offs throughout 2026. Eligible companies must apply through this process, ensuring they meet all mandatory criteria outlined in the call manual.
