Hessen Ideen Stipendium

The Hessen Ideen Stipendium is a six-month scholarship for pre-founding teams from Hessian universities, combined with the mandatory Ideen Akzelerator coaching and workshop program. Graduates who are no longer enrolled and work full-time receive 2,500 EUR gross per month; Master's students enrolled at a university receive 1,000 EUR gross per month (part-time). Up to three people per team can receive the scholarship. At least one team member must be a member or alumnus of a state or state-recognized non-profit private university in Hessen, hold a first degree no more than five years old, and the venture must be innovative, knowledge-based and still pre-founding (no capital company and no revenue yet). The university's founding network must provide a supporting declaration. The next application deadline is 10 March 2027, for the funding period 1 July to 31 December 2027.

Connect early with the startup coach at your participating Hessian higher education institution, prepare the project description, CVs, degree certificates, and university letter of recommendation, then complete the online application form.
