About this opportunity
Janngo Capital invests between 50,000 and 5,000,000 euros in early-stage tech and tech-enabled African startups operating in growth markets. The fund adopts a double bottom line approach targeting both financial returns and social impact, particularly through improving access to essential goods and services such as healthcare, education, or financial services, improving SME access to markets and capital, and creating sustainable jobs at scale with a focus on women and youth. Janngo is pan-African, able to invest anywhere across Africa with a portfolio balanced between francophone and anglophone countries. In addition, the firm maintains a strong gender-equality commitment, aiming to allocate 50% of its fund to startups founded, co-founded, or benefiting women. Alongside financial capital, Janngo provides human capital via an in-house full-time team of operating partners and experts to help portfolio companies achieve product-market fit, deliver hypergrowth, and de-risk market expansion.
