About this opportunity
PLAI is the Mondadori Group's corporate startup accelerator for AI-driven startups. Its 2026 Call for Startups runs with continuous selection throughout the year and no fixed deadline. Selected startups can receive up to €300,000 in equity investment (initial and follow-on) and up to €100,000 for proofs of concept, pilots and co-development within the Mondadori Group, plus direct access to corporate expertise, real use cases and strategic and operational support. Areas of interest are education and edtech, retail, new media and advertising, publishing, and corporate functions such as planning, procurement and legal. It is open to Italian and international early-stage and growth AI startups; each application is assessed on the value and maturity of the solution and its strategic fit with the Mondadori Group. Partners include AWS, ElevenLabs, Fastweb+Vodafone, I3P, PwC Italia and Startupbootcamp.
