Sprint Grant for small companies seeking rapid international growth

The Sprint Grant by Business Finland is designed for small Finnish companies seeking rapid international growth to fund projects developing innovative solutions. The grant targets early-stage development to validate technical feasibility, customer need, and market potential, where the solution still requires significant follow-on R&D efforts. The call covers small companies of all ages, including startups under five years old that have not previously received Business Finland funding, and established companies seeking a major innovation-based pivot. Beneficiaries receive a non-repayable de minimis grant covering 75% of eligible project costs between 100,000 and 133,334 euros (funding of 75,000 to 100,000 euros). Projects must allocate at least two-thirds of costs to research and development activities, such as prototyping or MVP development, alongside customer and market validation work.
