How to apply
Apply through the S-VCG portal at svcg.education.gov.ng when a round is open; the grant gives student-led ventures in Nigeria up to N50 million in equity-free funding.
1. Create an account on the portal with your personal details and NIN.
2. Verify that you are a student with your school ID or admission letter, and add your institution and course.
3. Submit your venture: a business plan with financial forecasts and key performance indicators.
4. Shortlisted teams pitch to a panel of experts from academia, industry, venture capital and government.
Who can apply: full-time students in year three or above at a federal, state or private university, polytechnic or college of education. Students below year three can join as team members. Ventures must be in science, technology, engineering, mathematics or medical science, and the venture must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). The portal shows when the next round opens.
