About this opportunity

The Basis Fellowship provides $50,000 in equity-free, no-strings-attached funding alongside a lifelong network for ambitious individuals. Supported personally by Mark Khrapko, Spencer Green, and Steven Pang through Orbit, the fellowship is designed for operators, engineers, scientists, researchers, and builders tackling unconventional or technically challenging problems. Fellows receive direct capital with no reporting requirements, milestones, or equity taken, and recipients can spend the funds on whatever they need. In addition, discretionary awards of $3,000 may be given to standout applicants who are not admitted to the cohort, and individuals who nominate a selected fellow receive a $1,000 referral bonus. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, never expire, and candidates can choose to remain completely private or be publicly listed.

How to apply

Complete the brief 10-minute online application form by sharing your background, portfolio or work links, and answering short questions about what you have built and what you are obsessed with.
